The Only Chili Recipe For Dogs You’ll Ever Need

The Only Chili Recipe For Dogs You’ll Ever Need

Woof! Hello ! I am Shirley Girl, a 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog living, working, and playing in Mont-Tremblant. A former obedience school dropout, best friend, model, and blogger. I love meeting new people and other dogs… And I get downright giddy when I get to run around the forest with my 8 Bernese co-workers.

I have a master’s degree in hiding peoples’ shoes and socks + driving my two-legged sidekick Shell crazy. (That’s my mom.)

Here I am hanging out in the woods. I am practicing my “serious” pose.

Alright. Raise your paw if you are tired of eating the same old dog food day after day? Calm down, calm down– I can hear the howls of discontent from here. Our two-legged Sidekicks get to eat different things every day if they wish, so why should we have to be stuck eating the same old thing?

Well the good news is we don’t have to eat the same old dog food every day! After much discussion, (Okay… mostly complaining and a 2 day food strike of “I am not EATING THAT anymore…”) my mom and I have come up with some easy delicious meals that both of us can enjoy!

With my good friends Brigit, Tina, Lucie, and myself, we’ll show you how to make the triple-cheese chili bake. OoooOOO00ooo… Just writing the word cheese makes my tail tingle. Have to say it one more time. CHEESE.

Ingrediants

(My friend Lucie getting everything ready. She is crazy about cheese too!)

This is a perfect meal after a brisk fall walk with your best 2-legged pal.

Everything you will need:

-4 Carrots
– 2 Tbsp Butter
– 1 lb Ground Beef
– 1 Can of tomato paste (spicy can for the 2-legged Sidekicks if they like)
– Beef Broth (NO SALT)
– Optional Can of Corn
– 250 grams Cream Cheese
– Mozzarella
– For the 2-Legged sidekicks: Monterey Jack, Cheddar or Tex Mex, and absolutely no onions for the pups!

( Saska and I waiting patiently for diner to be ready.)

A little snack of fresh pumpkin for Saska and I while we wait.

Directions:

First you need to boil the macaroni. In two frying pans cook the beef. (One with onions for the 2-legged sidekicks, but NO ONIONS FOR THE 4-PAWED PALS!) Add butter, carrots, corn, cream cheese, and tomato paste to your beef and cook for about 5 minutes. Then add your beef mixture to your casserole dish, add your beef broth and sprinkle cheese on top. After that, put in oven at 350 degrees and cook for half an hour. Add more cheese if you would like. CHEESE!

Enjoy with your best 2-legged sidekick!

My good friend and top chef Tina. She makes all sorts of wonderful meals for our two-legged and 4-pawed guests.
